2024 ESSENCE Festival of Culture Saturday Night Lineup: Usher, Charlie Wilson, and More

NEW ORLEANS — The 2024 ESSENCE Festival of Culture is set to dazzle on Saturday night at Caesar’s Superdome with a lineup featuring music icons and rising stars.

Headlining the evening is Usher, celebrating 20 years since the release of his groundbreaking album "Confessions." The Grammy-winning artist promises a special performance to mark this milestone at the festival, now in its 30th year.

Joining Usher is R&B legend Charlie Wilson, known for his timeless hits that resonate across generations. DJ D-Nice will keep the party going with his Club Quarantine Live set, featuring appearances by Sheila E., Big Boi, Tweet, Donell Jones, Lloyd, and Soca star Machel Montano.

Also on the bill is TGT (Tank, Ginuwine, Tyrese), reuniting for a dynamic showcase of their individual and collaborative hits, while Nigerian sensation Ayra Starr kicks off the festivities with her captivating blend of R&B and Afrobeats.

Hosted by Kenny Burns and with beats by DJ Clark Kent, Saturday night promises to be a highlight of the festival, celebrating Black culture and music in vibrant New Orleans.
